Lab Testing

Mortar Analysis
BCA's lab is equipped to conduct several types of analysis, including wet-chemical, x-ray diffraction (XRD), and petrography. The choice of method is usually based on the purpose of the analysis.

Compositional Analysis
BCA is equipped to conduct compositional analyses of building materials to characterize the materials and to determine the compatibility of potential replacements. When applicable, testing follows standardized test methods developed by the American Society for Testing and Materials (ASTM).
