BCA is advising Columbia University and their architects on historic preservation issues related to university plans for redevelopment of its proposed Manhattanville campus. BCA has conducted on-going site visits, archival research, review of existing documents and maps (historic and current), and the statistical compilation of building attributes. The findings from this investigation will be used to evaluate the architectural, historic, or social significance of the existing buildings, including the identification of eligible local, state, and national historic landmarks, street patterns, and related view corridors to determine the impact Columbia University's proposed redevelopment plan may have on historic resources in the study area.
